Aksa Akrilik Kimya Sanayi A.Ş. was established in Yalova, Turkey as an AKKÖK subsidiary in 1968. In 1971, Aksa started producing acrylic fiber with an initial capacity of 5,000 tons/year. Since that time, Aksa has reached a production capacity of 290,000 tons per year. With more than thirty [30] years experience and a strong research and development program, Aksa proudly can declare that it possesses the world's largest acrylic fiber production capacity. Aksa’s modern facilities possess the latest production technologies; therefore, we consistently offer high value, superior quality products and efficient customer services.

Aksa is ranked among Turkey's leading economic enterprises, currently producing more than 10,0 % of the world's acrylic fiber output.  The plant, comprising of an area approximately four-hundred thousand square meters [400,000 m2] wide, is located in Yalova, Turkey.

Bamboo Fiber

Softbamboo is made of natural evergreen plant bamboo, which is processed by special high technique. The bamboo cellulose is extracted from bamboo and made cellulose fiber after gumming and spinning etc.. Softbamboo is a new textile raw material after Tencel and soybean protein fiber. It has soft hand, good drape, high absorbency and moisture liberation, brilliant dyeing property etc.. Softbamboo is widely applied in textile field for its special microorganism resistance, ultraviolet radiation resistance, degradation-labile and environmental friendliness.
